Big Cats, Tiny Tats is back again April 19th.

We're celebrating the 50th birthday of Bob-ra the bobcat who keeps an eye out on the bar behind her steampunk goggles. She's lived a crazy life and has some wild stories to tell. We'll have bahn mi, flash tattoos, party games, and more all to raise a bit of money to help big cats.

For tattoos, show up early to get your name on the list. Always tip your artist.

The Snappy’s crew is officially headed to New Orleans.

We’re heading to the Big Easy to make some questionable choices and find the "spirit" of the South. But since we aren't total monsters we're not forgetting to make sure you have a good time while we're gone, so we’re leaving the bar in the hands of three absolute legends.

We’re handing over the keys, and frankly, we’re worried about what they’ll do with the place, but it can't be worse than what we do weekly.

The Takeover Lineup:
🐊 MONDAY: is sliding in with some Irish Whiskey and margaritas. Neil and Freeman behind the bar. Expect it to get weird.
🍀 TUESDAY: takes the wheel. Antoine will be serving up some incredible hulks and fried chicken from .d. Luck of the pour.
📖 WEDNESDAY: is closing us out. Graeson and Kapri will be turning us into a cocktail bar for the night. A storied end to the takeovers. (We'll even be back for the end of the night)

New menus. New vibes. Exclusive T-shirts for those who like to wear their memories (or their spills).

Come through and keep these guys company while we’re busy getting beignet-ed and buzzed.

Snappy’s Small Bar will be closed Friday, 1/30, in solidarity with those affected by ICE’s presence in DC and across the country.

We believe in community, inclusion, and the power of people coming together. We know we are a community gathering place and have never closed before (except that one time when we ran out of booze), and that is a point of pride for us, but we feel we need to close as part of this national shutdown. Our small business alone may not move the needle and missing a busy Friday night during a slow month definitely impacts us, but together with people across the country hopefully we can make a greater impact.

We recognize the difficult choices this moment has created within our industry. To those who are closing, we see and appreciate you. To those who are not, we understand and respect your decision as well.

We’re all working toward the same values. Any effort matters, and all are appreciated. United we stand.
