After much thought, we've made the difficult decision to close Everyday People DC. Our final day of service will be June 20, 2026.

When we opened our doors, our goal was simple: create a space where people could come together, connect, celebrate, and feel at home. Over the past year and a half, you've helped turn that vision into something far greater than we ever imagined. We've hosted birthdays, first dates, reunions, karaoke nights, happy hours, celebrations, and countless unforgettable moments. We've laughed together, danced together, and built friendships that will last far beyond these walls. It's truly been a dope experience.

Like many independent businesses, we've faced some major challenges along the way. While this chapter is coming to an end, we are incredibly proud of what Everyday People DC has meant to so many people and of the community we've built together.

Most importantly, we want to thank our staff. Their hard work, dedication, and heart made Everyday People DC what it was every single day. If you've ever enjoyed your time here, chances are one of them helped make it happen.

Over the next few weeks, we'd love for you to stop by, share a drink, rock out to some great DJ's, sing a karaoke song, and help us celebrate the memories we've created together. The best support you can give us right now is simply showing up, sharing your favorite memories, and helping us give this chapter the sendoff it deserves.

This isn't goodbye. It's simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
