Hey there Trivia Friends! Last week you wonderful people helped raise $50 for ! How easy was that? All you had to do was show up for trivia, hosted by the geeks at , and buy a few drinks. We'll donate $0.50 for every one you buy to House of Ruth to help them keep doing the great work they do helping survivors of domestic violence break the cycle of abuse by providing comprehensive, trauma-informed services that address the unique needs of each survivor and their family. Hey everyone. It's a big night of fundraising here at Kingfisher. Not only are we donating $0.50 for every drink you buy during trivia to , but we're also featuring and their Hot Honey Rye, which raises funds for bee conservation. You might be asking, what do bees, whiskey, empowering domestic abuse survivors, and trivia have to do with each other? The answer is, not much, but these are strange times and we just gotta help out wherever we can. So stop by tonight for some trivia, hosted as always by , and help support some great causes. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Safe Shores is one of DC’s premiere organizations that provides survivor-centered intervention, hope, and healing for children and families affected by abuse, trauma, and violence in the District of Columbia, and works to prevent and end child abuse and neglect through promising practices, policies, and partnerships. So far this month, you wonderful people have raised $205 for Safe Shores! If you’d like to help us close out the month on a high note and and support their incredible work, all you have to do is stop by tonight and play some trivia with us and . The Geeks will ask the questions, and we’ll donate $0.50 for every drink you buy to Safe Shores. The games start at 8:00, but the seats fill up quick, so get here early.
