Great job!!

Metallica's drummer, Lars Ulrich, was at Bradley Cooper's house when he saw Lady Gaga and came up with a brilliant idea. He said to Gaga, "We're doing the Grammys in a couple of months, do you wanna join us?", she replied in seconds, "Yes, that would be great". From that moment, a collaboration of the highest order was set as Lady Gaga and Metallica took to the stage to perform an incredible live version of "Moth Into A Flame". However, on the night they faced technical issues that threatened to overshadow their incredible performance, but thankfully, Lady Gaga's quick thinking made it a performance to remember. Thank you to all that participated in Bootleggers 2nd Annual Icefishing Contest! It was a lot of fun! Kudos to all the many local establishments that helped by donating gifts for the raffles! I can’t even begin to try and list them all but everyone helped out! We raised a very nice amount from the raffles for the Northwoods/Solon Girls Softball Program!!

Many thanks to everyone that helped with The First Annual Bootleggers Ice Fishing Tournament!! It went amazingly well and only a couple minor hiccups!! Kudos to all the volunteers and to all the establishments and people that donated prizes to help raise money for Henry and Karlies daughter Kami! It showed what a wonderful person her dad was and what an awesome and loving and giving place this Wascott,Minong,Gordon and Solon Springs area is!! Special shout outs to Schmidt’s Economart, Rice Lake Animal Hospital, Link RV,Mike Sinks,Abate of Wisconsin 2b and so many others that it would take forever to list! You all made this one of the most memorable days in Bootlegger history! Love you all!

August 22nd was the first Bootleggers fun run!!
Many thanks to pogos Harbor Inn,Kro Bar, Bears Den, Outback Bar,Log Cabin, camobooty, Antler Inn,Sportsman’s,Link Rec, Circle Pines, Victory Lane, Budweiser and all the awesome members of Abate 6b! Joey and Kayla for help with the registration! Kudos to Douglas Barney for making the food it was great! Missy Podgorak for volunteering to help with a everything else! Becky Strohman for coming in early and keeping everything together while I was on the ride! If I forgot to mention someone else I apologize there were a LOT of door prizes given out ( donated of course). Although the weather started out kind of iffy it ended up being a very fun run with a great bunch of people! I feel like I just got an extended familyand it feels pretty damn good!!
