Greetings All,

We appreciate all of the kindness our Guests, Performers, and Friends have shown since announcing our closing.

Our website has been deleted, and our Instagram page will follow soon. But, this page and our YouTube Channel will remain to tell our story.

Greetings All,

They say all good things must come to an end, and we have had a good run ! !

Since the Fall of 2017 when we opened at our shop in Re*****on, VA our goal has been to provide the very best experience we could for our customers and guests. Seventy-five shows later I believe we did it, but it’s time to go.

We have decided to close “Flatbeds and Tailfins Concert Series” and focus our attention on Fairway Farm Retreat in Hurt, VA. We have already held a few events there and have plans for more. It is a beautiful facility already, and we aren’t even finished yet ! !

We have nothing but thanks and appreciation for all of our Guests, Sponsors, Performers, and Friends ! ! Thank you one and all for your support over the years ! !

Greetings All,

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving ! !

We recently visited Camp Cedar Cliff in Asheville, NC to assist with the relief effort, particularly with helping clean up their facility so they can continue to support their neighbors in need.

We knew it was bad, but seeing it first hand was heartbreaking. Families are still living in their cars and tents next to their destroyed homes. The total deaths and people still missing were WAY more than what we had heard previously. There is a list with over 400 names of people missing from the area ! ! Awful.

Camp Cedar Cliff is hosting “Cabins4Christ” out of Gretna, VA at their facility so they can build small cabins for these families. https://cabins4christ.com/

Greetings All,

We had the opportunity to visit the Old Dominion Barn Dance held at the Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, VA this weekend, WHAT A SHOW ! ! They do five performances a year featuring national acts.

Although we thoroughly enjoyed the performances by T. Graham Brown and TG Sheppard the show provided by the ODBD performers and the House Band “The Barn Burners” was OUTSTANDING ! ! What a talented group of singers, dancers, and musicians ! ! We could have left after that portion of the show and would have been completely satisfied. We will definitely be back ! !

You may notice a couple familiar faces among the cast members too, Patsy and Michael Hockaday of Patsy & the Country Classics are performing there now ! ! The barn dance has previously featured Josh Grigsby and County Line Bluegrass Band who I believe may be performing back there again this Fall ! !

So, if you find yourselves in Hopewell, VA look them up. It’s definitely worth the trip ! !
