‼️MEET THE TEAM‼️

Alec Philip is Kristen's husband and together they have owned Oz Winery since May of this year. He said they were dating when she first started working here.

Alec does whatever Kristen tells him, he says, "from building things to lending my unsophisticated palette to the wines." He worked hard on the recent updates to the tasting room.

His favorite Oz wine is Oenological Experts of Oz, good old OEO.

He was reluctant to name an Oz character that is most like him but said, "Well I did play Nikko the flying monkey in the Wizard of Oz back around ‘99 at the Columbian theatre here in Wamego."

Another fun fact he shared is that there are 118 ridges on a dime. The more you know.

When he's not building things at the winery, he works full time at MCM.
