Java Ji, Royal Indian Cocktail, is named after our friend Dr. Java Joshi (Java Mehta Joshi) —an accomplished artist, educator, community builder, and founder of the Academy of Creative Arts (Academy of Creative Arts) in Burlington, Massachusetts. Through her passion for art and teaching, Java has inspired countless children and adults to discover their creativity and build meaningful connections through the arts.

Affectionately known as Java Ji (“Ji” is a term of respect and affection commonly used in India after a person’s name), she is admired for her artistic achievements, mentorship, and dedication to enriching our community. We crafted this cocktail as a toast to her lifelong commitment to creativity, culture, and helping others see the beauty and color in the world around them.

Just like her vibrant artwork, Java Ji, Royal Indian Cocktail (ABV: 8%), is bold, bright, and unforgettable. This brilliant crimson cocktail opens with fragrant notes of rose and kewra, followed by layers of fruit and botanicals, and finishes with a refreshing herbal character.

Here’s to artists, educators, community builders, and friends who make our world more colorful.

Due to the forecast calling for heavy rain and wind gusts exceeding 50 MPH, we will not be pouring at the Tour de Barnstable Festival on Saturday. For the safety of our guests, staff, and event partners the Biergarten will be closed.

We’ll be back and ready to roll on Sunday, May 31, for the Tour de Barnstable Finish Line Festival! 🍻☀️

BIERGARTEN ALERT! We have some exciting news to share: We’re opening a 115,000-square-foot biergarten at the Tour de Barnstable Festival Weekend at the Village Green Bandstand in Hyannis on Saturday & Sunday (May 30 and 31) - and we would love to see you join us in celebrations. 

The Tour de Barnstable is a charity cycling event and festival that brings together riders and the communities of Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, and Sandwich for one unforgettable Cape Cod weekend. Featuring cycling routes from 19 to 69 miles, it’s built for everyone: from first-time riders to seasoned cyclists, and 100% of the money raised goes to charity. 🎗️

In May 2025, we opened the doors to our taproom and kitchen at Arsenal Yards. From sunny afternoons on the patio under the sail shades to relaxing evenings under the festoon lights to gathering and building bridges, we’ve loved being a part of the Watertown community and watching Arsenal Yards grow into such a fun and vibrant destination. So we set off to create something we could enjoy as a little reminder of the journey, moments shared, and ponder what’s next...

This year’s Arsenal Yards Happy Anniversary is a rich and creamy stout brewed to celebrate Year One of the adventure in Watertown. This stout is layered with roasted coffee and dark chocolate and has a toasted malt character and notes of subtle black cherry.

From open field to biergarten! Over the past few days, we’ve been transforming the grounds at Gore Place into a 60,000 square foot biergarten built for sunny afternoons, live music, and relaxed summer evenings. This tent will allow us to remain open rain or shine.

Join us Friday, May 8th at 11AM when we officially open!
�Enjoy a rotating list of Mighty Squirrel beers on tap, plus our hard seltzers, hard smoothies, non-alcoholic beers, and more. We will also have our food truck there to serve a rotating menu including items such as lobster rolls, clam chowder, smash burgers, wings, birria poutine, harvest bowls, salads, tikka masala, saag paneer, and more. ✨

We’ll be featuring live music throughout the summer- check out our website site calendar for updates.

📍Location: Southern side of Gore Place. Parking entrance is at 52 Gore Street, Waltham and then stroll down the hill. If the (free) parking lot is full, there are another 60 free parking spots on Waltham Street along the southern border of the property.

Please note: Because Gore Place is a working farm with animals, dogs are not allowed (service animals are allowed).

Starting this Friday through October, come kick back and relax on the beautiful grounds of this 50-acre estate. We have put up an 80x30 tent, so we will be operating Thursday-Sunday rain or shine over the next 6 months.

Enjoy a rotating list of Mighty Squirrel beers on tap, plus our hard seltzers, hard smoothies, non-alcoholic beers, and more.
