The posts on the Foxys Lounge page has been disabled for non-admin so I have to do do this as a "mention".
Since I moved down here to Alabama from Ohio back in March 2021, I found Foxy's.
I checked out another bar who's name I won't mention because it looks like a den of disgust vile activities and I'll leave it at that.
After I made my first visit to Foxy's; I met "Dallas", talked with her and we connected on common nerdish interests. I connected really well with Alli; in fact Alli was the first dancer I talked to and tipped on the stage.
I quickly liked her and made efforts to start a sincere friendship with her and Dallas.
In a short time I feel I made connections with Harley, Michelle, Raven, Sunny, Star, Faith and Angel.
In the middle of May, 2021 I brought my best friend down from Ohio to give her a break from the hell she was going through and get a fresh start.
Michelle hired her and Dallas gave her the name of Siren.
Michelle told me that she liked Siren (her work ethic and customer service skills were off the chain!)
Siren loved Michelle, Dallas, Lee, and Lyric to death while she was here.
Each of these ladies are amazing women, I miss them a lot!
I met and have given my friendship to Dallas's husband as well as her!
Michelle is so sweet and protective of who she cares about and I've seen her pi**ed off and it's scary on a respectful level.
Raven is complex ... She's highly intelligent and busts her ass to make sure her have everything they need!
I haven't had a lot of conversations with Raven but I learned enough to admire her for her spirit and inner strength as a single mother.
Angel, what can I say. When I was last in the bar in early September 2021; things turned to the worse for me. Siren had returned to Ohio for reasons I will not reveal but I was alone and a toe blister had become infected and was spreading to the bones in my left leg. Sunny and Angel tried to help as best as they could. Through the whole ordeal of me almost dying from the infection and eventually getting my leg amputated; Angel stood by my side (morally) stayed in contact with my brother in Ohio and encouraged me to stay positive and fight to get well!
I'm home (since Oct 3rd, 2022) and am walking on a prosthetic leg.
Angel herself brought me home from the nursing home when I was discharged.
I want each of these women know that in the various levels of friendship they have given to me that I do love and appreciate them (spiritually) for who they are. When I give my friendship it comes with an unconditional loyalty.
Star is a CNA at an undisclosed medical facility and I admire her so much. One evening I made cream cheese stuffed jalapenos, wrapped in Navajo Frybread (I have Iroquois tribe heritage) and Pico De Gallo for dinner and brought it to Foxy's just to show off my cooking skills I bragged about and to honor her Cherokee & Mexican heritage.
For me it's not about the stripper/ customer dynamic ... It's about the connection and bonds you build with other people.
Before I move back to Ohio (closer to family for support) I want to have some more fond memories and lasting friendships at Foxy's but in my condition I can't drive.
I love you all
