One year.
It’s hard to believe Cranky Coquí is celebrating its first anniversary.
When Santos and I started this journey, we knew it would take hard work, but we never imagined how much of our lives, time, energy, and hearts it would require.
To our friends who showed up, helped when we were overwhelmed, gave us their time, shared our posts, sent people through our doors, encouraged us, and reminded us to keep going—thank you. We will never forget who stood beside us.
To our family and friends, we also owe you an apology. We’re sorry for the dinners missed, calls not returned, birthdays and gatherings we couldn’t attend, and all the times the restaurant had to come first. Thank you for loving us through it.
To our staff, past and present, thank you for being part of this first chapter.
And to every customer who walked through our doors, ordered a meal, sat at our bar, celebrated with us, told a friend, or came back again—thank you.
We didn’t build Cranky Coquí alone. You built it with us.
