Emily Petri Photography Let's take some photos. Hi! My name is Emily and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my handsome hubby, Jake. We look our best when we feel our best.

We met in Walla Walla over a decade ago at a bonfire. Jake was in charge of the playlist and if there is a way to my heart, its through music. We even sang karaoke at our wedding instead of a first dance! Jake is also my second shooter for large events. My photography journey began in high school, I was the photographer for our school journal and I fell in love. My first camera was a Nikon but I a

m a full blown Canon gal now. Like many other kids my age I grew up taking photos with friends on my webcam and at very high angles for my Myspace page. I'd say my style has changed quite a bit since 2008. Taking photos that you love and cherish is my goal. When you feel comfortable with your photographer, your true self can shine and that's what I strive to accomplish.

The amount of babies and toddlers who have been in front of my lens lately makes this 8 month's pregnant gal very happy. Choosing to be a parent in this economy is a BIG decision, a decision I thought about for a long time. Seeing these tiny humans and the love and joy they bring to their communities is one of the purest forms of love I've witnessed in my 30 years of life. I am so proud to know strong parents and these amazing tiny humans. Shout out to the parents, grandparents, friends, aunts and uncles, babysitters and all of the above who are out here supporting and empowering this next generation. I think they'll be the best one yet, not that I'm biased at all. 😉
