Small Town Throw Down

Saturday October 12th the Gates Open at 1 pm and the music will start immediately, so you will have a full day of Classic Country, Country Rock and Southern Rock music to enjoy. There will be seven bands playing short sets to compete for the title of “Best Country Band in North Florida” so you will hear their best music it is a competition after all.

With more then a dozen food trucks and vendors you will have a great selection of food choices and the opportunity to sample more then one. Best of all you will have a food selection of classic Bar-b-que, Eastern Mediterranean, to just good old fair food.

Bring a blanket or your favorite lawn chair and spend the day with family and friends to relive the best of Classic Country. The highlight of the day will be the nationally touring show “He Wore Black, a Tribute to Johnny Cash” Performed by David Chapa hear the hits that spanned Cash’s career “Cry, Cry, Cry”, “I Walk the Line” to “Jackson” These are the classics that built his career, built Country music, and built our love of all things Country.

This is a two day event so on Sunday you have the top three bands from Saturdays Battle return for a full set performance. It will be interesting to see who wins the tile “Best Country Band in North Florida” and then stay for a command performance of “He Wore Black, a Tribute to Johnny Cash” at 7 pm on Sunday.
