This week we picked up Choteau Creek Brewing Company chimichurri sauce at the Wagner Farmers Market and put together these steak sliders - and they paired beautifully with our Frisk Riesling.

For the sliders, we seasoned a New York Strip with our favorite steak seasoning, grilled it to our preferred doneness, sliced it thin, and piled it onto slider buns. The chimichurri added a bright, herbaceous kick that brought everything together.

Our wine pairing choice? Frisk Riesling. Its crisp acidity and citrus notes balance the richness of the steak while complementing the fresh flavors of the chimichurri.

A great reminder that wine pairing doesn't have to be complicated—sometimes it's as simple as a good bottle, a hot grill, and quality local ingredients.
