Virginia Parks and Recreation is Pleased to announce that our Music in the Park Summer Concert Series is returning again on Tuesday Nights in 2024 in Olcott Park by the Fountain. Concerts will begin June 4th and run every Tuesday Evening through August 27th, performers are typically scheduled for two 45 minute sets beginning at 6:00pm. If the show is canceled due to inclement weather we reserve Wednesday the same week as a make up date. We are currently accepting applications from Bands and Performers that would be interested in being included in this year’s lineup. We ask that each group or individual provide all of the following information:

List any Special Requirements – Sound and Staging will be provided
List Availability (Tuesdays Only June - August)
Are you Available July 4th?
Can Your Band Perform 1 or 2 Sets? (45 minutes sets)
Please attach a recording of artist/bands music
Desired Stipend Amount

Artist Submission can be mailed to Virginia Parks and Recreation 919 6th St South Virginia MN 55792 or emailed to [email protected] All Submissions must be received No Later than Friday March 29 2024. Bands will be selected and scheduled the first week in April and the Seasons Schedule will be released to the public in mid April.

Charlie Parr will be playing a FREE show outside of the Sugar Shack (old 218 Taphouse location) Thursday June 15th.
He will be joined by Abondon Me and Fight For the Weekend!!
Music starts at 6pm.
BOTH sides will be open for cold Tap beer and tasty treats!!
