As most of you are aware, a post was made about us in one of the local community groups. Not gonna lie, it was a really tough read. Ciphering through several hundred negative comments about the business you work so hard for, is an unexplainable feeling.

They say most small businesses don’t make it past 5 years, and we’ll be celebrating 7 in September. We’ve beat the odds, survived through the pandemic, and laid to rest a brother that should’ve been here to witness the success in what he started. Even though we’ve put in years of hard work, none of this would be a reality without each and every one of you. Including those that have nothing good to say about us.

We didn’t make it this far by luck. It took the hard work of each employee that has walked through our doors and the support of a community we’re proud to be a part of. It also took the ability to receive constructive criticism. It’s not always easy to hear, but it’s needed in order to continue to grow.

So thank you. Thank you to those that did their best to defend us. It’s easy to jump on the hate train, it’s not always so easy to stand against the crowd. It meant the absolute world to see many of you speak kindness over our establishment. And thank you to those that spoke the opposite. Every harsh comment is an opportunity for growth. Some were just being ugly for likes and clicks, but most were sharing their genuine experiences. And we take full accountability for those experiences not being up to par.

Although trending posts like that can destroy small businesses, we’re fortunate to have the loyal support of many members of this community and such a phenomenal group of employees to make it all happen.

Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to grow❤️
