WinStar is proud to announce that TAPPAN STREET 🏎️, decisive winner of the 2025 G1 Florida Derby, has been retired and will enter stud at WinStar for the 2027 breeding season.

Tappan Street established himself among the leaders of his generation with an authoritative victory in the $1 million Florida Derby, where he defeated eventual G1 Kentucky Derby winner and Horse of the Year Sovereignty—the only horse to defeat Sovereignty during his 3-year-old campaign.
A $1 million yearling purchase, Tappan Street combines elite performance, pedigree, and physical presence. He is bred on the same Into Mischief/Distorted Humor cross responsible for successful sires Life Is Good and Practical Joke.
