It is with a heavy heart that I announce that this is Skal’s last day open.

A very emotional day. The moment I bought this place I knew we belonged there. My little Gem. It will be handed off to great people.

The memories will remain with all of my family. The grandchildren have been basically raised there. Always coming over for Grandpa’s food. Running around the restaurant and playing outside.

Hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas at Skål is a fond memory.
I am most thankful for the people I have met throughout the years. If it wasn’t for you l wouldn’t have made it this far in my life. The laughs, the stories, the exhaustion , the joys, the love, the memories . I won’t forget any of it.

Thank you to all that has come to Skål and experienced good food, good drink and a good time. We appreciate you!

So this will be my last signing off as Skal!
