Today is the last day of Tinned Fish Week!

For the last day, we are featuring one of our favorite tinned fish, Siesta’s mackerel in olive oil with a hint of yuzu kosho!

This Spanish mackerel is tender and flakey the yuzu kosho is citrusy and peppery. It’s perfectly balanced in the tin.

The fish is meaty enough to be tossed in your next salad, or refined enough to go on your next cheese and charcuterie board.

Come on by for a sample of our favorite today!

Today we are featuring one of the most classic tinned fish, sardines!

Here in the market we have 3 different varieties from Da Morgada. Skinless and boneless (if that’s your jam) or small beautifully packed sardines.

These are only caught May-November when the fish are at their fattest and best!

Our perfect pairing with the sardines is the matiz piparra peppers. These are a traditional basque pickled pepper, mild, sweet and crisp.
