Sweet, smooth and great on the rocks. ๐Ÿฅƒ This month we're highlighting Akashi Goju 50 Sherry Cask, a higher-proof, sherry-finished release of the classic blended Japanese whisky from Eigashima Shuzo (also known as the White Oak Distillery), based in Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture.

The name "Goju" translates to "fifty" in Japanese, referring directly to its elevated 50% ABV (100 proof) strength compared to their standard flagship 40% ABV blend๏ปฟ๏ปฟ.

Nose: Raisin, smoked sea salt and vanilla pastry๏ฟฝ
Palate: Baking spice, floral sweetness, and rich sherry
