Barb’s been brewing beer since the early 80s, and she’s always wanted to open her own brewery -- the type of place where people could unwind over a cold pint and have a great time. In 2013, she bought a brick house just north of the university and opened Ironwood Brewing Co. Now, she’s running your neighborhood brewery, specializing in traditional beers brewed to style. You’ll find hops vines growing on the patio and wooden barrels in the back aging their own delicious contents. It doesn't matter where you choose to grab a seat either because you’re sure to find good vibes and friendly faces wherever you turn.
