🚣‍♂️🌟 A new awesome addition to our view! The Eppleton Hall is recognized as the last remaining intact example of a Tyne-built steam paddle tug in the world.

Built in 1914 in South Shields, England, this rare side-lever engine vessel is one of only two surviving British-built paddle tugs, excellently preserved by the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park and now here with us on Mare Island.

Happy to have you here, Eppleton Hall! 🤩

BTS preparation for this Thursday’s Bierstacheln Your B.F.H. event! Join us at the Coal Shed from 4-6 PM, where 400 years of German tradition meets our B.F.H. Doppelbock Lager.

What’s actually happening to the beer:

⚗️ Maillard reaction caramelizes unfermented sugars instantly

🍽️ Over the last few months, our Food & Beverage team took your feedback and built an entirely new Coal Shed menu from the ground up.

This wasn’t about tweaking a few dishes; it was about starting fresh and raising the bar. Along the way, the team tested, refined, and—yes—subjected our staff to plenty of tasting sessions. The result is a menu we’re excited about and proud to put in front of you.
