We want to address the edited audio clip that has been circulating online regarding a conversation from an internal staff meeting that took place over a month ago.

The clip being shared online represents only a short, edited portion of a much longer discussion among staff about several operational topics, including employee expectations, the challenges facing our business, and most importantly how we can maintain a safe environment for our guests and employees. Additionally, the meeting included discussions about behavior standards and the responsibility we have as a business to ensure that everyone who visits our establishment can enjoy themselves in a safe and respectful environment. The edited recording appeared online shortly after a former employee was terminated. Unfortunately, the timing and editing of the clip does not capture the full context of the conversation and has created a narrative that does not reflect our values or intentions.

Safety has been an ongoing concern and priority for our staff and our business. Our intention has always been to prevent violence, fights, and dangerous situations so that our employees and customers can feel comfortable and secure when they are here. Every community faces challenges, and ours is no exception. As a business, it is our goal to help our community address those challenges. In pursuit of that goal, we have always made the safety of our customers and staff our number one priority.

We want to be clear that Bungalows Bar & Grill welcomes people from all backgrounds. Our expectation has always been that anyone who visits our establishment treats others with respect and helps maintain a positive and safe atmosphere for everyone.
