We wanted to provide an update to our patrons regarding the management and operations of the bar to decrease any confusion and opportunity for misunderstanding.
Last July, when Morgan and Angie made the decision to go into business together, Morgan’s organization that she worked for during the day was at risk of losing funding. The final date for her program was set to December 31st of 2025. This uncertainty was one of the primary deciding factors that led to the 50/50 operations. Fortunately, the organization was able to maintain funding with Morgan playing a primary role within the functioning of this program.
Due to this, Morgan has decided to take more of a backseat approach with the operations of the bar triggering a 100% owner operation to Angie! This decision was not made lightly as a lot of sweat, time, and emotions were involved in the development of The Local 712 from both parties.
Though the ownership and management of the business is shifting, our community should not notice a change. You will still see Morgan as she continues to bartend and waitress!
We are proud of both Angie and Morgan as they continue to shift within their careers and get closer to obtaining their goals.
