Here is another 10-year throwback. What the brewery looks like now vs. in March 2016. We were receiving shipments while working in our makeshift office consisting of card tables and folding chairs. And we didn't have any beer on tap yet!

Our 2026 crop of "beer corn" got treated to a pass from the rotary hoe today. Because on our farm, we literally grow beer.

Hey Oak Park, join farmer/brewer Matt from Riggs Beer Company at Sugar Beet Food Co-op this Wednesday from 4-6pm for some sampling of Illinois grown beers and hop water. Our independent, farmer owned brewery is the state's leader in grain to glass brewing.

Here's another 10 year throwback moment.

The oldest of the 3 Riggs Cats "Dunkles" in the beergarden this morning vs. 10 years ago. A lot has changed over the past 10 years, but one thing sure hasn't: You can enjoy a locally grown beer on wooden tables in our large beergarden... and you might even be paid a visit by Dunkles!

How about this for a throwback moment from 10 years ago! The brewhouse still looks pretty good considering she's brewed 1672 batches. That is over 6 million pints. How many of those have you enjoyed?

While our winter wheat fared well through this cold winter, the winter barley largely froze to death. When mother nature gives you lemons... Plant spring barley. Darin Riggs brought out the good old Deutz tractor today to ensure uninterrupted supply of locally grown beer.
