Our tasting experience is designed for total enjoyment and a learning experience. All proceeds above cost will be donated to offset the cost of providing scholarships for the kids and mentors to travel and provide food and shelter for all during their experience during the week. The vine that struggles the most and has to dig deep for nourishment produces the best fruit. I choose to produce the best fruit. Losing a child is something no one should have to go through. I lost my son at age 19 from his inability to cope with some difficult times in his life. I choose to make a difference in young boy's lives that have struggled through a variety of issues facing them into today's world, such as abuse, single parent families, loss of a loved one, etc. My wife Laurie and I are developing a ministry that takes a group of boys on a trek to climb/hike a 14,000 foot peak and teach them trust, leadership and show them God's love with a mountain top experience. The tastings will only include the w**es from passionate w**e makers who also have a story to tell. We will take you there as we describe and show you as if you were sitting on their back porch in the vineyard. All you pay is cost for the w**e, our time is donated for free and if you would like, tax deductible donations to the cause would be strictly voluntary. All we ask, is you spread the word as we will need more than money, we need those kids coming forward and helpers. Whether its a vertical tasting of the same vineyard for several years, an old world vs new world comparison of bordeaux blends, bubbles or event you would like to see.
