🇯🇲 Rum & Reggae Vol. 6 – Jamaican Heritage Celebration 🇯🇲
Saturday, August 1st | 8PM–11PM
📍 Bear Creek Distillery | Denver
This month, Rum & Reggae recognizes two of the most important dates in Jamaican history.
August 1st marks Jamaican Emancipation Day, honoring the end of slavery in Jamaica and the resilience, strength, and cultural legacy of its people.
Just a few days later, on August 6th, Jamaica celebrates Independence Day, commemorating the nation’s independence in 1962.
To celebrate these important occasions, DJ MooreLove has invited one of Denver’s most respected Jamaican selectas to join her behind the decks...
🔥 Special Guest: DJ Chris Milly (Jamaica 🇯🇲)
A longtime fixture in Denver’s Caribbean music scene, Chris Milly has spent years sharing reggae, dancehall, and Jamaican culture throughout the city. For this special edition of Rum & Reggae, he’ll join host DJ MooreLove for an evening celebrating the music, history, and culture of Jamaica.
Rum drink specials
Reggae, Dancehall, Lovers Rock & Caribbean classics
Rooted in the Caribbean diaspora. Open to everyone who appreciates the music and the culture.
Whether you’re Jamaican, from elsewhere in the Caribbean, or simply love reggae music, come celebrate with us.

RUM & REGGAE UPDATE
Just a friendly reminder that Bear Creek Distillery will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, so Rum & Reggae will take a short break this month.
We'll be back on Saturday, August 1st with another evening of authentic Caribbean vibes, rum specials, and great company.
Thank you for all the love and support you've shown this growing monthly gathering. We can't wait to see everyone back next month!

❤️ Big thanks from DJ MooreLove, MOODS R&B, and the entire Bear Creek Distillery team.
Until then... 🇯🇲
