Barn Find 1970 Karmann Ghia Coupe Price: $3900
FOR SALE: Roberta — 1970 Karmann Ghia Coupe
Her previous owner found Roberta in his boss’s backyard when he needed a car to get to work. He started rescuing her and named her after his mother, who believed she was worth saving.
Then life got busy. Roberta spent about 30 years tucked away inside a garage.
Despite her age, Roberta is in excellent condition and is remarkably close to rust-free—a rare find for a 1970 Karmann Ghia. She has a solid foundation for restoration and deserves to be brought back to her former glory.
I brought her home in April 2024, but I have more restoration projects than I can give my attention to. Roberta deserves her next chapter—and maybe you’re the one to write it.
