As part of home ownership, all residents enjoy membership in the Rancho Santa Margarita Landscape and Recreation Corporation (SAMLARC). SAMLARC has been established to maintain the community property, facilities, support the long-term value, appeal of your home and community for years to come. SAMLARC residents receive:

Additionally, SAMLARC offers you an opportunity to become involved in your community as it evolves over time. Residents receive many benefits through SAMLARC including a voice to communicate, resolve issues and participate in numerous activities. Residents are encouraged to participate as Neighborhood Representatives, Delegates, Committee members and the Board of Directors. An additional benefit to living in SAMLARC is access to participate in our many community events, workshops and program classes. Meet us at the Beach Club for a patriotic bike & trike parade! Dress up in your red, white, and blue best and make your way around the Lake - furry friends on leashes are welcome, too! 🎤🌅 Music at the Lake is back!
Join us at the Lakeshore Amphitheater on Friday, June 5th for the kickoff show featuring Virginia James Music. Alicia and Chris are a dynamic duo known for genre-hopping sets - you might hear everything from jazz standards and Latin rhythms to pop favorites, country, and R&B. Beautifully blending strings and vocals, Virginia James' signature sound is easy to enjoy outdoors.

The concert starts at 6 PM - arrive early to grab your spot with a low chair or blanket! Food trucks will be on site with savory and sweet fare for purchase. We look forward to a summer full of great music and relaxation by the Lake!

Want to celebrate July 4th at the Beach Club? 🏖️ Be sure to register for the wristband lottery! 🎟️

Now through June 7th, head to SAMLARC.org/july-4th to add your name to the lottery! Each household can register up to 8 participants for the lottery (infants and non-SAMLARC guests included). Lottery winners will be contacted via email on June 10th with more information. If your name isn't called as a lottery winner this year, never fear! A standby line will be available on July 4th and unclaimed tickets will be released first-come, first-served. Learn more at SAMLARC.org/july-4th!

Animals Everywhere! 🦙🦎🐢

Join us for a family-friendly celebration of the animal kingdom on Saturday, June 6th from 10 A.M to 1 P.M. Animal lovers of all ages will enjoy petting zoos, bugs and reptiles, live animal shows, sloth encounters, an interactive lorikeet enclosure, pony rides, inflatables, food trucks, music, games, a new Dino Detective Experience, Walk on the Wild Side exotic animal encounters, and a photo op with Zootopia characters!

Our professional Lake vendors have been hard at work replacing floating islands throughout the Lago Santa Margarita! After years of growth both above and beneath the water, it's time to refresh the island plant palette! Over the next several weeks, the new plants will settle into their home and begin to produce aquatic root systems. Keep an eye out for yellow rain lilies, Byron Bay hibiscus, yerba mansa, and more!
