You all really nailed it with your costumes last week for our Out There & Back Again Route! Thanks again to the Spokane Hobbits for providing such an attraction in our fair city! And also to Justin & Andrew with Lilac City Running Company for telling us about their apparel and joining us for the run!

What a great time on the Brick West Run Club Halloween Fun Run! We ran, we dressed up, we got prizes, we had b**rs.

What an amazing community of runners, and just great people that come out week after week to the Brick West Run Club.

HEADLAMPS!

We're headed to the Iron Bridge Tuesday night at 6PM and the sun sets shortly before. So bring some sort of light to illuminate your way! Here's some ideas if you're looking for dark running safety gear: fleetfeet.com/browse/safety

There's only a few turns on this 4.7 mile route, and if you'd like to cut it short, as an out and back, that's pretty easy! If you want a 5k route, turn back to Brick West at the Kardong Bridge: strava.com/clubs/1110943/group_events/3546191490295467194

Who's ready for a spooky dark run this week? 🎃️ We're talkin' headlamps, friends, and a healthy dose of caution because let's face it, Spokane streets can be sketchy at night! 😂 Bring a buddy and some lumens to light the way!

We're headed to Latah Creek Tuesday evening! Our journey begins by headed through Browne's Addition, down the gravel trail just off 3rd & Cd'A Street, right at Latah Creek, across the Spokane river via the Sandifur Bridge to Kendall Yards, right on the Centennial Trail, then back across Monroe and Riverside to Brick West! strava.com/clubs/1110943/group_events/3542285838909345728

If you're new to the club, we have Bingo with James following the run. Grab a provided dauber and join in one or all of the four weekly rounds for prizes!

There are only two more weekends of the Great Pumpkin Fest! All kinds of fun for the whole family, lots of great pumpkins left for purchase!

This will probably be the last week before we're recommending headlamps for safe running on our Spokane Streets, so charge those batteries! See you on the patio tomorrow evening at 6PM!

Excellent turn out last week, let's keep it up! Tonight at 6PM, we're headed for a Gonzaga University Tour! We'll cut through Riverfront Park at the Fountain, run up the hill past the Clock Tower, across the Bouncy Bridge in front of the Dam, across the lawn at the GU Jundt Art Center, right at St. Al's, through the campus straight to Cincinnati, right towards the McCarthey Athletic Center and one last right on the Centennial Trail back to Brick West. It's the first day of fall on Tuesday and we've got a new route to enjoy together. Join us on the BW patio at 6PM for brief announcements and a run around downtown!

Yahoo! We're back to comfortable running weather, so let's have a choose your own distance run! If you'd like to do around 3 miles, take a quick loop around the condos near the WSU campus on the south side of the Centennial Trail and head back to Brick West. If 4 miles is more your style, you can add on the GU baseball field, and the condos. OR run straight to the Iron Bridge, right towards Trent, right in front of the NoLi building, and then left back over the Hamilton Bridge along with the other two loops, you'll have closer to 5 miles.
