It’s nearly that time again!
And what better way to spend YOUR Friday evening than out here in Wonder Valley, having a great time with us?
Every week, this thing that we do here just keeps being great. You truly never know what’s going to happen on the Open Mic stage, and whatever it turns out to be, it never disappoints.
Whether you’d like to get up and perform, or you just feel like sitting back and enjoying the show, YOU are an important part of what makes this night so special!
We need you here!

Amazingly, the last few weeks have just flown by, and now another Friday is upon us.
And you know what that means... once again, it’s nearly time to head on out to The Palms for Open Mic Night!

I hope that you’re as ready as I am to get back to our Friday evening fun!
You know the deal, folks… if you find yourself in need of someplace fun to go and something good to do on a Friday night, just find a way to get yourself to The Palms Restaurant in Wonder Valley, and spend your evening having a blast with us!

There’s always an array of great entertainment, there’s always something new happening, and there are always cool, interesting, friendly people…
and there’s not even a cover charge!

In what way is that not the best thing ever?

Open Mic Night at The Palms!

Yep, it’s almost that time again!
And not only that, but tomorrow night will be the LAST CHANCE YOU WILL HAVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER to enjoy it with us!
The Palms Restaurant will be CLOSING FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST to take their yearly summer vacation. Unfortunately that means that Open Mic will be on vacation as well. Yeah… I’m bummed out too. But what can you do?
I mean, I guess I could have it at my house… but first I’d have to steal a sound system from somewhere, which would just be a terrible start.
Seriously though, I’m sure that this month will go by in a flash, and we’ll be back to our usual Friday evenings together *just* before we all go completely stir crazy 👍
In the meantime, maybe this is the chance you’ve been waiting for to crochet all of those doorknob covers for everyone you know, or perhaps you could use this time to practice holding your breath competitively… geez, spend the entire month wearing a gigantic bejeweled headdress and speaking only in rhyme, as is occasionally your wont. Why hold back? It’s *your* month.
Whatever inspiringly unique project you choose to embark upon, be sure to get it all finished up and out of your system in this next few short weeks so you can be refreshed and renewed and totally prepared for the return of Open Mic in September!
First things first, though…

Yes, indeed... Friday is rapidly approaching, and once again you need to find something to do with yourself.
And what do you know… I happen to have the perfect solution to your problem!
All you have to do is get out here to The Palms in Wonder Valley for Open Mic! Whether you feel like getting up and performing or you just want to sit back and be entertained, what better opportunity to not only get out of the house, but to be an actual part of something special?
Performers and audience alike are absolutely essential to this great thing that we’ve got going here, and *your* presence is exactly what makes it so fantastic!

At my Open Mic nights there is always an amazing and varied array of entertainment, and you will find a whole lot of good folks having a great time... and to make it even better, there’s not even a cover charge!
