Black Warrior Brewing is located in the historic district of downtown Tuscaloosa. The tap room showcases a bar and seating area handmade from reclaimed heart-pine & 100+yr old brick. The warm and inviting atmosphere is only surpassed by the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the large selection of quality craft beers and wines all made on-site. The brew area adjacent to the tap room is in full view

, allowing visitors to enjoy a cold pint while watching the brewers in action. In addition, you can head upstairs & join in on a game of Shuffleboard, Cornhole, and Darts.

So I left BW about 11 tonight. After an absolutely PHENOMENAL last jam session. I hugged our bartenders tightly before I left. Words can’t describe my appreciation of how amazing they are. The best in the business. I’m out back of my house smoking a cigar…sipping some bourbon…decompressing. Thinking about what this place meant to me. It’s not a building. It’s not equipment. It’s people. THAT is what I will miss. I have met so many amazing people in the last 13 years. You mean the world to me. Today was difficult. Not gonna lie. But I look forward to seeing all of you wherever we wind up in our future gatherings. You are my BW family. Thank you for being you. And thank you for the support of a dream we made a reality for 13 years. Much love to you all. Cheers!!!

CRAWFISH DAY!

Ah, bittersweet. Our time in this building is coming to a close but there are still so many memories to be made!

It’s a perfect day for some mudbugs and our first batch will be ready to roll at 1pm, starts up at 2 and the party continues all night! We also have some special guests stepping behind the bar throughout the day so come on down to the brewery and we will do this crawfish thing together one last time 💜🔥

We have loved hosting our weekly Pints and Poses here at Black Warrior. Every Wednesday at 5:30 this amazing group comes to the brewery for not just yoga but a mid week recharge, fellowship and of course a tasty beverage afterwards 😉 thank you so much for not only supporting the brewery but for all being such amazing humans! Today starts our one week countdown until we close and as sad as we are, we are going to live it up this week! We still have all our regularly scheduled events beginning with our last open mic comedy tonight at 8pm!

Comedians, from the bottom of our hearts…THANK YOU! Open mic night has been one of our longest running weekly events here at the brewery and it’s all because of y’all. Thank you for showing up each week and making it happen whether there were 5 or 50 people there. We wish y’all all the best luck wherever your comedy careers take you.
