From homebrewing out of our garage to building out the brewery and collaborating on beer recipes with friends, the past 12 years have been a helluva ride and we're incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way.

To show our appreciation we're throwing a party for our silk anniversary (yes, that's a thing) on Saturday, June 13th. We'd love too see you here! Bring a friend, wear your Triceratops swag, and get ready for a good time.

Not only will we have Triceratown IPA, our Georgetown Brewing collab on tap, we'll also be pouring a new hard soda—Blood Orange Cream—and serving both boozy and non-alcoholic slushies until they run out!

This daylong celebration is free to attend, and as a reminder, well behaved kids and dogs are always welcome at our tasting room.

If you've been a fan of our beers over the years, you've likely noticed a recent change to many of our can designs. Well, we thought it was finally time to post something about it. In an effort to help our beer stand out on crowded shelves, and to bring more personality to our brand, we started working with The Art of Justin Hunt to update labels like Collin James Irish Red, Sh**un Assassin IPA, and You Don't Shovel Rain Winter Warmer.

Justin is a comic creator, writer, and professional cover artist with more than 200 published comic book covers for both independent publishers and major industry names, including Marvel Comics, Archie Comics, Coffin Comics, Mad Cave Studios, Antarctic Press, and Source Point Press.

At Mythos Comics Group, which he co-founded with his wife Amy, he has also built a reputation for creating atmospheric worlds rooted in mythology, horror, fantasy, folklore, and cinematic storytelling. His work blends dark visual energy with emotionally driven narratives, often incorporating historical influences, supernatural themes, and gothic imagery that give his stories a grounded yet mythic feel.

Outside of comics, Justin’s creative vision continues to expand into film, specialty merchandise, and unique collaborations that merge storytelling with fan culture and collectible art. His ongoing partnership with Triceratops transforms each of our labels into a visual story designed to feel collectible and deeply connected to their sources of inspiration.

Visit us for a beer today, May 16th, and meet some baby goats while you're at it! This event is free to attend, and all ages are welcome. We hope to see you here at our Tumwater brewery and tasting room.

SAVE THE DATE

On Saturday, May 16th, we're welcoming baby goats back to our tasting room in Tumwater! Stop by from 1 – 6:00pm, get a selfie with a cute kid (or a picture of your cute kid with a cute kid), and then stick around for a pint or two on our patio.

All ages are welcome, and this is a free community event. The main rule we'll be enforcing that day is no alcohol inside the goat space. Otherwise, have fun!

🐰 EASTER WEEKEND HOURS

We're open in Tumwater today (3 – 9:00pm) and tomorrow (12 – 9:00pm) but we'll be closed on Sunday, April 5th. Stop by for a pint, grab a 4-pack to-go, or pick up a new hat to keep the sun out of your eyes while you're hunting for Easter eggs!

And if you're brining the kiddos, we have non-alcoholic drinks too. Cheers to a (partly) sunny weekend in the South Sound. 🍻

When it comes to Irish Red Ales, we fight for perfection.

It's a type of beer that's been near and dear to us since our first pint of Red Ale at a Maine brewery that sadly is no more. Back when we were homebrewing we worked on a recipe of our own, making small adjustments so that each batch was just a little better than the last. And now, every spring we brew Collin James, our take on the style that we named after a family member who used to be a boxer.
