Delivery Driver Policy Notice – Sip Happens Specialty Drinks

To all DoorDash drivers and other third-party delivery partners:

We appreciate the service you provide and the role you play in helping us serve our customers. However, we need to clarify and reinforce an existing policy.

When you arrive to pick up a delivery order, your primary responsibility is the prompt pickup and delivery of that customer’s order. If you would like to purchase a drink for yourself, you must either:

• Place your order ahead of time so it can be prepared alongside the customer’s order when possible, or
• Return after completing your delivery and place your order as a regular customer.

We will not delay a customer’s order or risk the quality of their drink while preparing a separate order for a driver at pickup. Our drinks are made fresh, and unnecessary delays can affect quality, presentation, and the overall customer experience. The customer who placed the order is our priority, and we expect delivery orders to be transported promptly.

Additionally, Sip Happens Specialty Drinks maintains a zero-tolerance policy for hostile, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff or customers. Profanity, intimidation, arguments, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Any serious incidents may be documented and reported through the appropriate delivery platform channels.

We value our delivery partners and are happy to accommodate personal orders when they are placed appropriately. What we cannot accommodate is delaying customer service, compromising product quality, or creating a negative environment for our team and guests.

🚨 Delivery Update from Sip Happens - OK 🚨

After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to cancel our Uber Eats partnership once again….

Unfortunately, despite being assured things would be different this time, we have continued to experience low sales and limited support through the platform. As a small business, we have to focus our time, energy, and resources where they best serve our customers.

Going forward, DoorDash will be our exclusive delivery partner.

We understand this may affect a few customers, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We will be putting additional effort into improving our DoorDash presence and expanding our menu options there to better serve everyone.

At this time, we’re not sure exactly when our Uber Eats storefront will disappear—it could be within a few days or it could take a little longer—but if you’re looking for delivery, please head over to DoorDash.

We’ve been working on some things behind the scenes, and if all goes according to plan, we’ll have some big news to share soon that we think you’re really going to love.
