🪗 Live Accordion at the Biergarten – Tuesday & Wednesday! 🍻
This Tuesday (Oct 6) and Wednesday (Oct 7), 6–8 PM, join us for a special Oktoberfest evening with accordionist Mark Danisovszky!
Mark is a theater and symphony soloist who specializes in the music of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, with productions across the US. Carl Weber, Brecht's assistant and later Artistic Director of the Berliner Ensemble, called Mark's music direction of The Threepenny Opera the best he'd ever seen in the US. That production earned Mark the 2009 Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Musical Direction from the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle. 🏆
He's also been the onstage accordion soloist in Alban Berg's opera Wozzeck and in Mother Courage in Berkeley and La Jolla, and the solo pianist and music director for the award-winning Seven Deadly Sins at the San Diego Fringe Festival.
Now he's bringing traditional Oktoberfest music to our b**r garden on his Petosa accordion, with all the flair of his big theatrical productions! 🎶
