B**r of the week:
Radiant Polotmavy - Czech Amber L***r 5%

A classic take on a rarer Czech Polotmavy style; Radiant does a stellar job capturing rich brown-bread and subtle earthy spicy Saaz hop flavors, perfectly balanced by a subtle clean bitterness.
Pair this with Autumnal dishes: Pumpkin sage soup or Tarte Flambee’.

W**e of the week!:
La Grange Tiphaine Rosa Rose Rosam. Touraine, Loire, France. Pet-Nat Rose of Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Grolleau and Malbec. From biodynamically farmed vines up to 80+ years old. The estate has been in the Delecheneau family since the 19th century with Damien, the 5th generation, and his wife taking over the family business. Nose is of ripe red berries with a classically dry palate of raspberry, strawberry, and herbs. The finish is dry, bright and zippy! Absolutely killer as an aperitif or on its own. $31 to-go.

Jacques Staff Pick:
Everyone always asks me what my favorite IPA is, and the regulars are quickly all learning that I don’t like IPA’s 😬 unpopular opinion to have at a tap house but 🤷🏽‍♀️ my favorite kind of b**r is a sour! I LOVE the Cantillon sours we have in at the moment, and Cantillon is basically the pinnacle of sour brewing (they’re one of the OG’s!). That said, many sours are made with lactose, and being lactose intolerant myself, I have to avoid those options. My favorite thing in the fridge right now is Destihl’s Sour Pickles…both the dill and the spicy variety! For anyone who doesn’t enjoy hoppy flavors but wants to keep their drinks light, I recommend trying a sour!

American Pale Ale 5%

Domaine Saint Damien ‘Le Dix (10) de Saint Damien’ Gigondas, Southern Rhone, France. This easy-going red is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Marselan (climate hardy cross between grenache noir and cabernet sauvignon). From organic certified vineyards, the w**e leisurely ferments for 5 weeks in concrete vats. Flirty aromas of dark cherry and overripe strawberry lead into a fresh and slightly herbaceous medium-bodied red. A remarkable value at only $17 to-go.
