Burgers & Bourbon Wednesdays at Truckee Tavern is four limited-run burgers, built from the ground up to live alongside our whiskey list. All natural beef. Brioche bun. Fries. And a pour that was picked for exactly what’s on the plate.
Tomorrow we’re spotlighting two that couldn’t be more different – and both are exactly right:
The Forager – sautéed cremini mushrooms, swiss, arugula, garlic aioli – paired with Westland American Single Malt. Toasted grain, orchard fruit, earthy malt. It walks the same forest floor as the mushrooms. This one isn’t accidental.
The Barrelhouse Bacon – bacon, crispy fried shallots, bourbon BBQ sauce, cheddar, paired with Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Vanilla. Oak. Soft caramel. Built for bourbon BBQ, cheddar, and crispy bacon. No notes.
One burger for the forager. One for the carnivore. Both built to make your Wednesday feel like an occasion worth showing up for.
