If these guys close, we’re closing too. Just kidding, but it would be a major bummer. Go shop at Simpson’s!

Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to accept SNAP starting May 25. We accidentally sold ineligible items (parchment paper and sandwich bags), and we are losing our authorization as a result. We are embarrassed for the mistake but mostly sorry that we let our community down.

SNAP and DUFB sales make up about 15% of our monthly revenue, which means the future of the store is in jeopardy. While the gap is not impossible to close, it requires finding a lot of new customers in a very short period of time.

We’re going to take some deep breaths before we make any hard decisions, and we remain open for business for now.
