It’s crazy how much I take Michigan beer and beer in my area for granted these days. After traveling and drinking in several different states in March, I could not agree more with Michigans #1 ranking.

The Mammoth Distilling Team taking a rare break to read about the history and future of Mammoth's journey to resurrect Rosen rye in this month's American Whiskey Magazine.

It's been a year's-long effort requiring vision, perseverance and the coordination of entities from the US Park Service to Michigan State University. But none of it would be possible without the pure grit of this hard-working crew. With Lead Agronomist Doug Burke at the helm, they have planted and harvested on a remote island with only what we've brought over by boat.
