Starting today, we’ll be featuring daily food specials that you don’t want to miss! Craving something from our previous food menu that we replaced? Well, we might just be bringing something back from time to time. Comment your favorite food item that you’ve been missing oh so dearly.

Annnnd we’re bringing back our happy hour food specials too starting today (all day Monday and 3PM-6PM Tuesday thru Friday).

Huge shout out to our friend Carolyn, aka Pokey Robinson for designing our amazing new Phoenix design for us. She knocked it out of the park and the look on her face when she saw we put it on our private label bubbles from chateau chantal was priceless!

Rare Bird Brewpub in Traverse City has reopened after a fire in April caused significant damage to the building. The sign is up, the b**r is pouring cold, and there are new comfy barstools waiting for your booties. We will be opening tomorrow, Thursday, July 9th at noon! We can’t wait to see you all!

It’s crazy seeing how angry this fire was.

We’re grateful to our neighbor, who was the first person to see the fire and quickly called the Traverse City Fire Department. He also woke up all of his neighbors to make sure they all got out safely.

This all could have been so much worse.

A quick update from the bird. I’m sure many of you have already heard, but the fire was started from a cigarette ash that hadn’t gone out.

It’s crazy to hear, but after talking with lots of our friends in the service industry, this is a common enough thing, and really unlucky night for us.

As many of you have heard, Rare Bird had a fire in the early morning. Luckily no one was hurt and most of the fire damage is outside where the fire began, but we have significant smoke and water damage inside. Realistically we will be closed for a while. We will keep you all posted as we know more. Thanks so much for everyone reaching out and offering their support. We wouldn’t be here without you all ❤️
