Update= 10/27 at 5:55 p.m.: The vehicle has been located. Thank you to everyone who submitted tips. Police investigators are still asking anyone with video footage from the area of 5th Avenue NW and 18th Street NW around the time of the incident to contact Minot Central Dispatch at 701-857-1500.

Received a press release from the Minot Police Department public information officer. Police say they are investigating a hit and run. Resulting in a injured juvenile. Police are asking for anyone who recognizes or has information about a gray or silver 1982–1992 Chevrolet Camaro in the area at the time of the incident to contact Minot Central Dispatch at 701-857-1500.

This is what Minot Police say Happened=
On October 25, at approximately 3:59 p.m., Minot Central Dispatch received a report
of a child lying injured in the roadway in the area of 5th Avenue NW and 18th Street
NW. Through the course of the investigation, officers determined the child was 12 years old. The child sustained serious injuries.
Patrol investigators are examining video footage provided by a nearby resident that
shows a gray or silver, third-generation Chevrolet Camaro (1982–1992) traveling
directly behind the child on the motorized bicycle shortly before the incident. Additional
footage appears to show the vehicle leaving the area shortly afterward. The vehicle's
license plate is currently unknown.
The Minot Police Department asks anyone who recognizes or has information about a
gray or silver 1982–1992 Chevrolet Camaro in the area at the time of the incident to
contact Minot Central Dispatch at 701-857-1500.
The investigation remains ongoing.
