How to order at Board & Barrel
Short answer: however you want.
Our menu runs in seven sections — focaccia, appetizers, salads, sides, pastas, entrées, and dessert. You don't have to order from all of them. You don't have to order from any particular one. There's no set path through it.
Here's the only thing worth knowing: tell your server everything you want up front. All of it, at the start, in one go.
From there it's on us. We pace the meal — fire each dish when it should be fired, bring it out in the order it makes sense to eat, and give you room between courses. You're not committing to a seven-course march. You're telling us what sounds good, and we build the night around it.
Two of you splitting a pasta and a ribeye? Great. A table of four working through most of the menu? Also great. One salad and a glass of w**e at the bar? That works too.
The focaccia arrives on its own. You don't order it, and it's on us.
If you're not sure, ask your server. They'd rather answer than have you guess.
