Hello everyone!
We are asking for your help. Tomorrow August 13th at 9am the Shawnee County Commission will be meeting on whether or not some of the bar restrictions can or should be lifted. What we get tomorrow from the County Commission will more that likely be how the local eating and drinking establishments are allowed to run through the end of the year. This effects not only the owners but our employees and customers as well. If you work 2nd shift and we are only allowed to be open until 11pm Thursday - Saturday you do not get to go out and socialize after work. As of now Shawnee County has some of the most stringent mandates against bars and restaurants in Kansas. Most of our local bars have followed the guidelines and are still under the threat of being shut down at a moments notice.

I want to make one thing abundantly clear, masks and social distancing is helping turn the tide of this pandemic.

Our economy is fragile, picking and choosing winners and losers does not help our economy or the tax base of our local government. Not allowing businesses to operate with reasonable hours is driving people to eat and drink in other cities with less restrictions. This is not a sustainable model for businesses or their employees.

Please email our County Commission tonight and let them know that local businesses need their help.

Because poor little Joey needed an update here you go.
New HVAC unit complete
Patio concrete complete
New stairs complete
Foundation repairs as complete as they can get.
Floor leveling in front of and behind bar complete
We are still working on the walk in
Bathroom remodel and floor leveling 50%
Painting everything is primed
Weather delays have cost some time
We hope to open mid August no set date as of yet.
Much love everyone we really miss you, but we will not open with things half ass done.

Hey everyone just giving you an update. We will not be open until sometime in July. We are working on some major improvements.
We hope you will enjoy the new AC unit, new walk in cooler, patio space, remodeled bathrooms, and re-leveled floors, newly painted walls and celings.
