Simply The Zest - West Coast IPA 6.3% 🍊

Imagine walking through a citrus grove in sunny Southern California where the breeze dances amidst the leaves and carries the intoxicating aromas over the hillside. The Santa Ana mountains stand high in the east while the salty pacific air ripens fruit on the vine to perfection. A centennial of amarillo sunsets, a citra-mandarina kaleidoscope of memories that are better than all the rest. It’s Simply the Zest.

Deceiving in its black color but enjoyably light body, the world of haze-craze has pushed the mind of the brewer back into a place of darkness. Where black malts find solace amongst hops of bright citrus and pine. Our brewers have done so to create something that deviates from the norm of an IPA, an Aberration.

FACT CZECH - Czech Pilsner 6.8%
This beer has nothing to hide–just water, malt, yeast and Czech hops. A complex yet straight forward and well-balanced beer with a strong but clean bitterness, gentle hop spiciness, and slightly sweet, bready, and biscuit aroma. This free spirited Pilsner, born in the ancient land of Bohemia, now called the Czech Republic, will guide you in the right direction every time.

Our Story

The Irish are one of the many proud heritages that make up New Jersey’s past, present and future. A large portion of New Jersey’s population can claim Irish ancestry and Toms River is home to the most.

Toms River Brewing has its roots in Rinn Duin Brewery. Rinn Duin became well-known for its UK and Irish-style ales. They developed a cult-like following over their first four years.

Enter Jim Mulligan. With a background in natural extracts, Mulligan acquired the brewery in 2018. His vision is that a wide range of beer styles can be explored through the addition of natural fruits and extracts, along with an expanded yeast and hop selection. He retained “Bob the Brewer” and hired “Irish Nick”, a career salesman, concert promoter and lifelong beer enthusiast to hit the streets and spread the word. The whole team is excited about the positive feedback they have received and are very optimistic about the future.

Toms River Brewing offers an opportunity to explore beer styles with an expanded natural flavor palate. Raise a glass–we can all be a little Jersey Irish.
