The Boars Head kicked off the summer season a bit early! We officially opened for the season and we marked Tres de Mayo as the day! Boy did we feast…authentic barbacoa, chicken and steak tacos…esquites…rice…beans…homemade salsa verde…hot sauces…tequila shots (añejo of course), cupcakes, cerveza, and good company!

Last night at the BHT we served up our classic hot pastrami sandwiches and our pastrami Ruebens or sometimes known as the Rachel…we started early, smoking these corned beef briskets at 235 with some heavy hickory for about 4 hours - then steamed it at 250 until the internal temp was 205…let it rest for about 30 minutes before we sliced into these heavenly morsels of meat before constructing them into masterpieces…so to whomever decided to leave one of these priceless pieces of art behind the bottle of 4 Roses Single Barrel…we are investigating and we will find you…WE WILL…find you.
