🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 11. WE REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 12. 🇺🇸
On September 11, 2001, our nation experienced unimaginable heartbreak. We remember the innocent lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families forever changed, and all those who answered the call to serve in the days and years that followed.
But we also remember September 12.
We woke up grieving, but we woke up together. We weren’t divided by politics, backgrounds, or differences. We were neighbors. We were friends. We were Americans. Flags flew from homes and businesses, strangers comforted one another, and communities came together with a sense of unity we will never forget.
Twenty-five years later, may we honor September 11 not only by remembering those we lost, but by remembering who we became on September 12.
May we choose kindness over division, compassion over anger, and unity over our differences.
From all of us at Pinto’s Lounge, we honor the fallen, the survivors, our first responders, our military, and every family whose life was forever changed.
