Within the oasis lie ponds that enter play on all but five of the holes, including hole 13, where the green juts out into a large water hazard that regularly swallows up overly-forceful approaches. Players will find themselves facing o

ther risk-reward scenarios throughout their bout with the course, such as on hole 5, where they must either lay up or go for the green, and on hole 16, where they must decide between hitting a 210-yard shot that carries the water or just picking the ball up and carrying it to the hole. Calling all the people that used to golf at THE BADLANDS, get together to make a foursome. Tipton Country Club is having a 4 person best shot Sunday Sept 22 10am shotgun start 18 holes. $120 a team. Call the clubhouse to get signed up 319-509-3545. Can’t wait to see everybody!!!! This is open to all, not just the Badlands. Anybody that wants to play on an awesome golf course, come on out. It is with great sadness that I have to announce that we will not be reopening this season. We have made a lot of great friends over the years and we will miss you all.

We will still be open Wednesday, Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday till the end of the month.

Hope to see you before we close and thank you for your support the past 19 years.

League information:

$10.00 Entry Fee

1st Week Buy back Option
Rules :
One team is picked each week throughout the NFL regular season. That team cannot lose. If your team selection loses you are eliminated, with the exception of week #1. If you are eliminated in week #1 you may buy back in prior to the start of week #2 games.
You may only use a team once throughout the season. The exception is in the event there are still survivors at the end of the regular season, they may now choose from the playoff teams, But they can only use a team once through the playoffs.
Entry fee is $10.00. NFL season begins 9/5/2019. Entries are accepted until the start of the last game of the 1st week.
Your selection must be made prior to the start of that team's game. In the event a participant fails to make a selection they are given the home team of the last game of that particular NFL week. If that team has been used they are given the visiting team. If both teams have already been used the participant is eliminated.
A tie counts as a win.
The Season begins 9/5/19 7:20PM
Beginning 9/8/19 12:00PM CST ---------$1.50 Domestic beers in the clubhouse during all NFL games for Survivors!!!

With Hawkeye football season almost here, we decided to bring back the potluck parties. So if you wanna get out of the house and watch the Hawkeyes with some fans, make up a dish and come on out. We will have drink specials during the games.
