A Friendly Reminder About VFW Entertainment
We’ve heard some concerns and complaints regarding events being cancelled, dates or entertainment being changed, football games that members would like to watch being scheduled at the same time as previously booked events, and requests for specific bands or entertainment on certain nights.
We absolutely want our members to enjoy the club and have a voice in what we offer. However, planning entertainment for the Post takes time, coordination, money, and—most importantly—volunteers.
If you have ideas for events, bands, karaoke nights, football games, or other entertainment, we genuinely want to hear them. The best way to have a say in those decisions is to join the Entertainment Committee and be part of the planning process.
It’s easy to criticize a decision from the sidelines. It’s a lot harder to put in the time and effort to make these events happen.
So rather than complaining about what we’re doing—or what we aren’t doing—we invite you to be part of the solution.
Our Post belongs to all of us. If you want to see something happen, step up, volunteer, and help make it happen.
We appreciate everyone who gives their time and energy to make the VFW a place our members want to be. 🇺🇸
If you have concerns, ideas, or suggestions, we’re willing to listen. We just ask that you bring them to the table—not just to the bar.
