Quick shout out and thank you to one of our amazing donor’s for today’s benefit for the 988 Su***de and Crisis Lifeline!
If you’re able to make it today, you’ll see that several of our basket raffle items were donated by Jeane Peter’s of Boom 92 Fireworks in Green Bay. Jeane is a phenomenal person and also someone we’ve known and had the pleasure of working with for well over a decade. She loves animals and has been a foster mom to more cats and kittens than anyone could ever begin to count!
Jeane has also, unfortunately, had to live with the grief of losing a child. Her son, Dan, was the absolute light of her life. We do not have words in our vocabulary to express how close they were and just how meaningful of a connection they had.
But somehow, through the grief and tragedy of her loss, Jeane has persevered and carried on. She made the decision to re-name her company in Dan’s honor. Please stop in at Boom 92 and ask her about it. Ask her about Dan- she’s got so many great stories to share! Because when we lose someone, we don’t want to ever lose their memories or feel as though they’ve been forgotten.
