Meet Your Instructors!!!

We’ve had a lot of new followers lately so I thought I’d reintroduce myself!

I’m Ashley and I run Coastal Cowgirl Line Dance. I moved out here from Arizona in 2023 and loved everything about living in Tillamook except I was really missing my line dance community. I have been teaching line dance as an elective for the last 3 years at Tillamook High School. I had a lot of demand from adults wanting their own class so I started teaching at The Elks Lodge in 2024.

Our community of line dancers progressed and grew so last Fall, Shirley from Dance Your Boots Off started making the trek from “over the hill” to teach our group. We’re so grateful she now makes the drive out to us 🩷

Shirley is an experienced, life-long dancer and professional instructor who brings high energy classes to Tillamook. She teaches everything from absolute beginner to advanced line dancing as well as partner dancing like progressive pattern and country swing.

Together, Shirley and I collaborate with The Elks Lodge (also shoutout to Gwen Bush and Brent Rocha for their contributions to make this possible) to bring line dancing locally here in Tillamook. My page focuses solely on line dancing events in Tillamook, while Shirley’s covers all her events in the PNW.

We hope to see you at our next country dance night on Tuesday, March 31st from 7-9p. These classes are open to the public and The Elks Lodge has a bar, food, and drinks.
