Greetings Mad Scientists, LAB Rats and craft beer lovers!
In September 2017, we officially launched this brewery by successfully filing our Brewers Notice with the U.S. Alcohol and To***co Tax and Trade Bureau. Now, eight years later, our adventure in operating Tiffin’s first brewery since Prohibition is drawing to a close. Our state liquor license will expire Oct. 1, and we do not plan to renew it.
However, new owners plan to open a brewery at our current location. Expect an announcement from them in the near future.
It has been an incredibly rewarding and challenging experience over the years. We have become better acquainted with other downtown business owners, and now have even deeper respect for, and understanding of, what it takes to keep those enterprises going.
We also treasure the new friends we’ve made along the way, as well as the memories of fun times in the taproom — the trivia nights, the live music, being part of downtown events. Perhaps most of all, we also will miss the relaxing hours passed in conversation over craft brews.
We will operate regular business hours for the rest of September. We now offer special pricing on remaining beer and merchandise while supplies last. Starting today, everything is priced at a 25% discount. Stop in and say farewell!
