As we bring Ledge Hill Brewing Co. to a close, there are a few people and organizations I want to thank publicly.

First, thank you to the Cunningham family and the entire team at . Since the day we arrived in Ticonderoga, they have been incredible supporters of our business and generous members of this community. We are grateful for their friendship, encouragement, and belief in what we were trying to build.

If you would like to continue supporting Ledge Hill in one final way, please support Paper & Pencil — they exclusively have access to the last of our beer.

I'd like to also thank Chef Mike, Jill Cunningham, and Derek Brighenti for their work to get us up and running during a chaotic time moving from Westport to Ticonderoga.

Thank you Jesse Perkins for being the best employee and teammate I could have hoped for throughout this entire journey. Reliable, hardworking, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the brewery and our customers. Congratulations, Jesse, on being Employee of the Month. Well deserved.

Thank you as well to the team at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce for their constant support, guidance, and willingness to help however they could over the years. Small businesses survive on community relationships, and we were fortunate to have yours.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has reached out recently with ideas, opportunities, encouragement, and creative ways that we might continue operating. Your kindness has meant more than I can properly express.

At this time, however, I need to focus on taking care of my family, and that means looking toward options that do not include operating a small business.

Ticonderoga is a community filled with potential. I sincerely hope that our departure helps spur positive conversations about the direction the community is headed and, more importantly, about how people & organizations can work together with as much human kindness as possible. Communities become stronger when people choose collaboration over division and compassion over cynicism.

Thank you for supporting Ledge Hill Brewing Co. through the years. It mattered.

We will not be open today.

We’re working through some technical issues with canning Boat Beer, and the tasting room is a bit of a mess as we continue removing equipment and closing things down.

We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and support as we navigate this transition—it means a lot to us.

We’ll be open on Thursday for retail sales and the tasting room, and we’re looking forward to seeing you.
